Santa Clara prides itself on innovative teaching and learning practices. The teachers consider students readiness, interests and curriculum documents when planning meaningful learning experiences. We endeavour to teach the requirements of the curriculum in a contemporary approach with students using their critical and creative thinking skills to problem solve. Our goal is for students to become lifelong learners that are:

The Early Years use the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) which emphasise the principles and practices of Early Childhood Classrooms.

In Kindergarten, the teacher plans using the Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines in conjunction with the EYLF.

From Pre Primary to Year 6, the Western Australian Curriculum provides a coherent and comprehensive set of prescribed content and achievement standards in which all school across Western Australia use to plan student learning programs, assess student progress and report to parents.
